Beijing Metro Line 14 Lize Shangwuqu Station is the first station to open as part of the “five-line interchange station” in the Lize Business District. The station is adjacent to the regional landmarks of Lize SOHO to the south and will also connect to the future Daxing Airport Lize City Terminal in the north. The project allows natural light to be introduced into the station hall through two skylights. The use of cumbersome decorations is abandoned and plain cement is utilised as a means of highlighting the structural beauty of the columns.
Shahetan depot is located one kilometer east of the core area of Xixian New Area Energy Finance and Trade Zone, with obvious location advantages. Based on the idea of TOD integrated development, the project will build a low-density community on the top of the depot, as well as supporting facilities such as a “high line” park above the entrance/exist lines, a primary school and a kindergarten. In addition, the project will set up a core commercial area in combination with the metro station to form a comprehensive TOD community with rich commercial programs and convenient transportation.
Xi'an East Station is one of the largest railway stations that under planning in China. The East Station planning area is located at the southeast corner of Xi'an, adjacent to Qujiang District. The design scheme inherits the environmental advantages, bringing the water from the nearby Bailu Tableland into the basin to establish a wetland system. In addition, three metro stations are set up alongside the proposed metro line 15. Three distinctive TOD core districts will be built around that three stations, including the transportation hub area, the waterfront cultural tourism area and the sci-tech innovation district.
