Xi'an East Station is one of the largest railway stations that under planning in China. The East Station planning area is located at the southeast corner of Xi'an, adjacent to Qujiang District. The site is adjacent to the South 3rd Ring Road in the north and has the Xi’an Ring Expressway passing through it. Proposed metro line 5, 13 and 15 will converge on the station and link the planning area to the other parts of the city.

In addition, three metro stations are set up alongside the proposed metro line 15.
